Gotta love a full bumper with hoops. Not mine, but Hit a cow and only break a headlight.

How fast was he going? I hit a deer at 55 mph. Only damage was a tweaked license plate frame.

In 1975, on my 16th birthday, my buddy hit 2 cows doing 60-ish in a '59 Beetle. One in the hip and the bull in the neck/head. Folded those fenders under the front tires. No steering or brakes and we slid into the ditch. We were being chased by the cops.:rolleyes: The cop shot the bull on the spot. The farmer came down post haste and limped the cow to the barn. He...was... pissed.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
Back in 92 I ran into a horse on my motorcycle. Lost my left eye to him by bouncing my head down the highway. Nice bright yellow stripe down the side of my helmet, though.
I watched the horse die in the ditch off the side of road. Took him 15 minutes, but BLM wouldn't let the Border Patrol, or the civilians there with me, finish him off. ONLY BLM could do it, and they were more than an hour away.

Headlinne in the local newspaper the next day? "Horse dies in motorcycle accident". To this day I have no idea how that horse managed to work the clutch or front brakes...

    Have fun, all!

I would have thought Border Patrol would trump BLM, but I guess they wanted to call the the shots literally.

I had a huge amish plow horse get hit by an F150 doing about 45 mph at 1am in front of my old house out in Oxford, Pa. Broke its hips and it ended up on front my lawn. Since there were no people injured it wasnt a priority for law enforcement to get on scene. One of my neighbors knew where it came from and got the owner of the horse to my house. He said it would have to be put down and since it was on my property he gave me the green light to dispatch it. .40 cal to top of head and lights out. They came back with a trailer and took it off my lawn that night.
