Chewed up wire

Does anyone know what this wire is for ? Got chewed up by a squirrel

That is a wire(s) that are to be connected to one of your 6 Fuel injectors, that appears to have been violated by a rodent or an aggressive technician.

 

Yeah, you're gonna need that. It's for the fuel injectors.

I did that. Lately Ive been kinda going around chewing wires blaming it on squirrel

 

I repaired chewed and missing wires on a V8 Dodge injector wires years ago. Soldering in line copper strands as needed, then shrink tubes and tape to insulate. If you have prior experience soldering it is easy. Getting in position is hard. The tools & materials are cheap but I would do lots of practice first.
Only makes sense as a DIY if you can park it for time needed.

 

You can purchase a replacement connector with flying leads, for example: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=7988068&cc=3353820&pt=2577&jsn=600

Then just connect to the engine harness with heat shrink crimp-&-seal connectors from your local auto parts store.

 

Now that is some useful information - a repair with that would be easily done. Thanks for that.

Hard to tell if the OP has gone AWOL, though. Hopefully she sees this tip.

 

Then she needs some rodent deterrent under the hood!

 

Maybe the squirrel abandoned those soy wires and went after the most dangerous game.

Before you do any rewiring work, disconnect battery negative! And then get a roll of Honda Rodent Tape.

 

Cats? I have cats hunting almost every night. And foxes.

 

Catching them and throwing them in a Dutch oven would be the ultimate revenge! IMHO

 

Hey man I ate 18 squirrels in three days. My biggest squirrel was 27 inches long!
I had two mounted.
Then there's the infamous "black" squirrel. Yes, I have a pelt.
