Solo desert run in 6th Gen 4runner. The end of the video was pretty fun.

Deserts offer wonderful vistas well captured by your drone.
The suggested old railroad roadway was narrow, steep and showing erosion both sides-I find it suited for dirt quad or motorcycle-not an expensive heavy runner.
Your soft dirt down hills looked exciting. I think shifting most of vehicle weigh and brake power on front could make rear wheels very light and put your rig sideways!
I have noticed many dirt roads have names or number identifiers on maps. Trails do not.
I know my SF insurance only provides vehicle coverage on marked roads. Do you have an insurance that covers trails?
Thank you for risking so much to provide us your video!

Thank you for watching the video. I was actually trying to make a different one but the footage didn't turn out well so I ended up making this one. I had been over the railroad bed before. I knew it was narrow but solid. It looked pretty neat from the drones perspective. I was surprised how much loose dirt was on the decline. I should have done a better job of pointing the nose of the vehicle in more of a straight alignment with the trail. I did it on the last run. To be honest even though the 4runner was slipping it was super fun. Only thing I really worry about is a potential rollover so I am careful about that. None of this was planned. I just was driving around looking for potential filming areas.

@Hungryhawk I am with USAA and they cover all offroad trails. But I am glad you inquired. I called them just to verify.

Now that you've reconned the trail, next video will have jumps? :llama:
