Can someone smarter than me tell me what this MF thing is for (molding intruding into the handlebar cutout)?

 

I think is like a version of a molle panel or some $hit like that. Think of the things from Rago, or CaliRaised for the front or the sides, I think. Agree it looks so damn out of place....unless this is something else.

That’s what I’d use it for. I always have a plastic bag in the front passenger side for trash. Because I have kids who are messy and always have things to throw away.

The hook is actually a smart idea….botched b/c it’s executed in low-grade plastic with a noticeable seam.

Cheap detail on a $45k SR5. Inexcusable on $65k Platinum.

I think soccer moms are entirely their demographic. If I had to guess just like with Jeeps now I would say the majority of them are strictly driven on road and not driven off road or modified.
