Can someone smarter than me tell me what this MF thing is for (molding intruding into the handlebar cutout)?

Too many..... I think is like a version of a molle panel or some $hit like that. Think of the things from Rago, or CaliRaised for the front or the sides, I think. Agree it looks so damn out of place....unless this is something else.

It’s gotta be a bag hook (or other object with a strap)

Yes that hook thing. That's a good idea, still seems entirely unesscessary IMO.

It'd be irresponsible to let beers go flailing around in the footwell, right?

That’s what I’d use it for. I always have a plastic bag in the front passenger side for trash. Because I have kids who are messy and always have things to throw away.

Looks like a missed opportunity to sell it separately for 49.99$. With TRD logo 99.99$.

Shh! That's probably for the facelift or 7th gen! Or it'll be gated behind the Platinum trim or moved upmarket to the GX!

It's to hang a climbing chalk bag to put your water bottle in. Don't say Toyota isn't paying attention to the forums.

The hook is actually a smart idea….botched b/c it’s executed in low-grade plastic with a noticeable seam.

Cheap detail on a $45k SR5. Inexcusable on $65k Platinum.

Hook to hold a trash bag. I use the 4WD lever for that. The grab handle seems completely useless though.

I think soccer moms are entirely their demographic. If I had to guess just like with Jeeps now I would say the majority of them are strictly driven on road and not driven off road or modified.

It's for leaving interesting patterns on your passenger's left knee, particularly when it's way hot outside and your passenger is wearing shorts.
