Hello all. A deer ran out in front of me and made a mess of my front end, no structural damage thankfully. I’m looking to change the Grill from the stock ‘emblem’ type to the ‘TOYOTA’ TRD style PZ32735053. I do have the collision avoidance sensor on the lower grill and want to keep that.

I need help with OEM P/Ns that I can provide the body shop to rebuild the front but I’m not sure if the sensor creates a problem with going with a new TRD grill setup?

    VIN JTERU5JR8P6210581

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just curious - why would you have to provide part numbers to the body shop? Isn't that part of what they do for a living?

Sorry to hear of the trouble.

Just give the body shop a Vin # for a '23 Pro. Pick a Vin # off of cars.com. Tell them to fix yours as if it was a Pro. Based on your pictures there are a whole bunch of parts that are going to need to be sourced and replaced... not just the grill components.

Something like that will total the vehicle if you hit a deer, it will wreck the whole front end and fold the front frame horns in, which pretty much instantly totals a 4R

Thanks guys. Yea I spoke to the body shop and they weren’t super supportive on the idea of them having to check what parts were needed to modify to pro. Waiting to hear back from them to see if they can figure it out.

no it wont. Ive hit a deer with my SSO bumper and another member (Stoney Ranger) here hit a deer doing 55+ and had zero damage other than the damge to a license plate bracket. Ive see pics and videos of that style bumper and ARB bumper hitting cars and animals and come out with no damage.

that's complete BS.... e.g. laziness. Find another bodyshop. They are probably making 25% on a parts markup and charging you $100/hr+ for padded shop labor...... so give them a Pro Vin and tell them to fix your vehicle as such. Or take it to a shop that will.
