Hello everyone. New here. Trying to figure out how to upload some photos of my Hoopty. Thanks for letting me me in. I enclosed a before shot of my Gen 5 2019. I live in Fl so, not a lot of rocks to crawl over. I’ve waited a year to decide what to do. Watched far too many YouTube how to put 35s on your 4Runner videos. Then found out,if you’re not someone who wants to not make a mistake with money that’s hard to come by ,( like me). Don’t watch it. Talk with someone who knows more than you, and who builds these trucks everyday. They also know what works and does not work. Yes they are salesmen. Do your homework before you go into a 4WD shop. Downside is. It’s going to cost at least another quarter of what you’ve planned on spending. Upside. 35s fit perfectly. Ride is spectacular. With this fab tech 6” lit kit, I could run 37s no problem. No trimming at all. Just followed fab tech’s suggestions. I never even thought about a 6” lift before going to a shop. Watched videos. 3” lift. Chop chop, cut cut. Try this. Cut the front of your truck off. Now. I’ll admit. I like some of the looks. Big ass winch bar bumpers.front cut high. I think if I did cut for looks. I would do the smaller low profile hidden winch bumpers, and maybe the viper cut with the C4 high cut covers.. Thats me so far. Still want to do a hard shell tent. Roof rack with bar lights. Back ladder.

One more thing guys. Would be happy to tell anyone what I have on here so far. If you’re planning on doing this with quality gear and doing it the right way. It’s expensive. For me so far right at 14,580

Did that start off as a TRDPRO or was it an ORP to start with? I see all the Pro badging, but ORP wheels in the first picture

I thought the same... The back bumper looks like the SR5 edition.

Either way, welcome mate... looks good! You're going to soon find out, if not already, you may as well dedicate one entire credit card for mods. These vehicles are like Pringles... Once you pop, you can't stop!

    Nice to have ya around!

    Cheers,

    Sean

If you’re in FL, WHY? 6” lift? It looks “unique” if that was your goal but for FL?

@Jetbike007x10 please fill in your profile to include your location. Looking at your rig, I have to assume Florida, but questions or comments are often location dependent, so having your location filled in can be important.

Without fuel. Sure. Because the gas stations are flooded too.

^Keeping the tank full and extra fuel jugs full is part of hurricane preparedness. That fuel is going to be needed either for driving or for powering generators.

It says on the dealers contract it’s a SR5 premium package. When I bought it. It had the TRD blacked out emblem pack on it, and a TRD gear shift. It’s my first one. I wasn’t aware of all the hype and overland crowed. My son has a Tacoma. Told me I should buy one. Great life span on that V6. I decided to stick with the TRDpro look. Gone a little nuts lately Carbon fiber overlays on every piece of silver . Outside too
