I had the previous AT3 (missing them) and replaced at 60k with the road n trails. I've noticed a 1mpg hit and they definitely feel heavier.
They look cool and so far are great in the Pnw wet weather, but I probably should have gotten something lighter duty for my road and light gravel use.
Looking forward to getting some snow to see how they do.

They drove great offroad. Nothing crazy, just dirt and gravel roads. Recently drove it to work few days in wet cold snowy slush and did great. No slipping (but may be due to the LE full time 4wd.

I went stock size. Wanted something lighter than an AT4W or ko2/3 that would be good for highway driving, but can handle snow/rain and look good. It's only been a few days but I'm very happy so far.. they've been very quiet and handled a combination of fresh snow, ice, and slush easily, even with a lot of incline. They feel good on highway use too, can't really tell a difference from the stock tires. Haven't offroaded them yet, so no feedback there, but plan to a bit in the spring/summer. I think they look great too, somewhat aggressive but not over the top.

    Few pics:

Ended up having balancing issues unfortunately. I was bummed because I really liked them but they tried 3 times and I gave up. Seems like everyone else didn't have this problem so maybe I just got a defective set. Got some toyo's put on in SL

Just checking they road force balanced? That was the only way mine would balance out?

Since it was through DT, and provided you haven’t decided to move on from them and wash your hands of them, could they exchange them for another set of the same under warranty? See if that fixes the balancing issues? They always seem to go above and beyond for folks here by reputation?

Little update on these tires. I am not someone who goes out of my way to find deep mud, but I accidentally ended up in literal foot deep mud today and these tires blew me away with how well they did. I fully expected mild AT tires like these to get all gummed up with mud and not eject properly. Usually a tradeoff for having quiet tires is poor mud ejection from the tread blocks. These did not suffer from that today and were instrumental in keeping me from getting stuck. Perhaps it's just the type of mud I was in but impressive nonetheless.

Just completed a 6 hour plus towing session on Sunday. Tires did great with minimal noise and great road manners.

Bought these from Tire Rack about a month ago and had them installed at Discount Tire. They might be the worst riding tire I’ve ever experienced and I think I’ll need to give up on them after about 1.2k miles.

I’ve had the first set road force balanced 4 times by two different Discount tires (not sure why there’s a hyperlink here) and could not get rid of a shaking steering wheel above 60mph and a bouncy/skipping/jiggling feeling. Discount tire gave up and said I should warranty replace the set. Got 4 new ones and the issue persists, plus one of the new ones had a big sidewall bubble immediately after install. Replaced the tire with the sidewall issue and then set off on a 900 mile road trip. The ride was so terrible I thought I might need to turn around. I managed to suffer through, adjusting tire pressures along the way.

At highway speeds, smooth roads feel bouncy and harsh, the truck shakes, acceleration is noticeably reduced, steering wheel still shakes. I’m not sure I’ll be able to live with them.

I had them balanced again by an independent shop after the 1st leg of the trip. Things seem better and lower pressures seem to help but they’re still noticeably worse than the worn out stock tires in ride quality and smoothness. I’m dreading the 900 miles home.

Some positives: mpg was 20 over the 900 miles with speed limits varying between 55 and 70, noise is not significantly louder or bothersome, wet traction in standing water was good and inspired confidence (drove through a ridiculous storm that had people hiding under overpasses because rain and wind was so intense), off road grip is excellent in wet grass/mud and unmaintained rutted dirt roads. They look great.

Just in case anyone wonders, I got an alignment before leaving just in case that was contributing to my issues.

I think there is just too much variability in these tires which complicates balancing them. I’m really disappointed, I was so excited to dump the worn stock tires.

I'm sorry to hear you're having a bad time with yours. I've got over 11k miles on my set now, and haven't had any complaints at all.
