    A Lincoln locker is probably your least expensive option, but I would not recommend one...

    We had potatoes, but I hear stove top is pretty good too.

    I put a rear Truetrac in the old '94 Pickup nine years ago and can't say enough good things. Quiet, no lines/switches, uses plain old 80W-90 oil/no special maintenance, and plenty strong. For wheels-in-the-air rock crawling, a locker will beat a Truetrac. But for most of the off-roading that most people do, a Truetrac is enough, IMHO.

    One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 35 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 35yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
    Agreed, it makes a huge difference with minimum hassle. Change out the carrier set the backlash, reassemble.
