Why did you go with AVS window shades and not Weather tech ?

I have the AVS vent on my Tacoma and I liked it. There is a lip on the model for the 4runner, and I don't really like it, but It's still functions fine and that's what I'm looking for.

I will never buy Weathertech vents again. I had the in-channel versions on my 09' Taco and after about a year, the pressure they exerted on the front windows started wrinkling and shuffling the tint where the Windows inserted into the channel as they were rolled up. Cost me more than the damn visors to fix.

Was it a reverse light mod or the turn signal mod?

"This kit will make your LED tail light also function as the turn signal on your 2014-2016 Toyota 4Runner. By eliminating the factory incandescent turn signal bulb, and instead operating it through your LED tail light, you will gain a much more modern appearance."

"If you wish, you can also convert the old turn signal socket to an extra high-mounted backup light! Each kit comes with the wires to accomplish this (see video for details) but you will need new white LED bulbs. You must use LEDs, not standard bulbs, because you will be drawing power from the backup light circuit."

How has that held up? The factory chrome handle in my truck has taken a beating from my wedding ring in the short time I've had it.

    Yes.

The gloss wrap I used was bad from the beginning. Bad adhesive, it didnt quite catch on when I heated it up.

The one pictured (matte or flat) had better adhesion. Still holding strong and tight. No issues
