Looking into putting a lift on my 4th gen V6 SR5 4Runner. Need a good 2 inch lift kit that’s not too pricey. Let me know if any of you know of any good ones for this car….. thanks!

OME makes a good one. Dont know what your budget is but OME is roughly $1200 all said and done.

For cheap: Bilstein 5100. Probably one of the cheapest options that worth buying.

Great Value: Bilstein 6112/5160 or Eibach, or Dobinson Premium.

How much are you looking to spend?

I went with 3rd gen tacoma front coilovers and Mevotech rear springs for an 07 FJ cruiser. I am all in around $325. About 2" lift up front and 1/2-1" out back

I’m looking to spend no more than $600 if possible. That Bilstein 5100 Looks like a good option.

On that budget, they're probably your best option. If you need springs, you might be over $600, though.

Too many..... Performance: • Magnusum Supercharger • Gibson exhaust with dual black tip • Pedal Commander * PowerBrakes • Suspension – Old Man Emu BP-51 front and back with Medium load coils • Tires: AT3 Faulken Wildpeak – 285/70/17 • Wheels: Relations Race Wheels, RR7-H with -12 offset • Full roof rack and ladder by Westcott Design (removed the stock Yakima basket) • Molle storage panels by Rago fabrication • Front light brackets by Rago • Illuminator light bracket by Rago (roof rack location) Lights • Morimoto front and back with sequential signals • Morimoto fog lights and side mirrors with sequential signals • 40” Baja design light bar for roof rack • 20” S8 Baja design driving combo (winch location) • Squadron sport baja design ditch lights • S2 Chase lights by baja designs (mounted on roof) In the bay: • Odyssey 34-PC Battery • SDQH Aluminum billet battery terminals and bracket • Switch Pro 9100 with aluminum tray • Anytime front and back camera • ARB twin compressor Recovery & Protection: • Smittybilt X20 synthetic rope winch • Factor 55 fairlead and flatlink • Southern Style Off-road (SSO) low profile bumper • SSO stage 2 high clearance wings • Weekend warrior recovery kit by treaty oak • RCI – skid plates – entire vehicle + catalytic converter protection wings Interior: • Nano Ceramic IR – Avery Dennison Window tint – all windows • Several phone mounts • Upgraded Rear Hatch lift gate struts (ladder is heavy) • Boom blaster horn switch (featuring La cucaracha)
I would look around on marketplace and see if any of the riches will sell their TRD fox front and back and make that work for you. There are lots of people that ditch their fox (which is a decent upgrade from stock) to go way up there. Seriously, look there first before buying something brand new.

This is definitely another good option.

Atleast with my 5th gen 4runner experience I don't recommend OME Nitro if comfort is a consideration. OME Nitro is fun for little jumps and some abuse. But on pavement the ride is firm.

Bilstien5100 is by far good balance for comfort and slow offroad but don't abuse like OMEs.

For little more money Ironman FCP is a great suspension. Better than TRD Pro fox on 5th gens.

Again this is 5th gen first hand experience. Not 4th gens.
