Drove the 2011 to Whole Foods, then picked up a pizza, then home

 

Drove it tp Grand daughters indoor field hockey game. Then we went grocery shopping. Someone left case of Twisted tea in a cart. Took it back in & customer service said "they just called & were coming back." She said "Thanks for being honest" I said "Someone has to be " I wonder if the store would've given them another one, because they didn't know it was turned in.

 

I love saying this!!!

Side note:
I saw an ad where the cookieclub is posting up outside of dispensaries

Added some Etsy letters and swapped out the valances for black ones (what a pain in the ass they were)

Last year I was leaving Publix grocery store and an older gentleman was returning his cart and I said “sir, you’ve left your beer on the bottom”. He tried to give me one as a reward.

 

re-installed a cleaned front bumper cover with no valance during the time I paint it

 

I picked up some beer and wine to go along with my turkey bday dinner.

Added some patches today. I sometimes take clients out to lunch, so I moved the one patch lower

 

Decided to try out desert backpacking. Packed up the 4Runner and Mika and headed out to the Domelands Trail near Ocotillo (for those who know Southern California). Sandy, rocky dirt road to the trailhead. Some of the sharp rocks made me wish I wasn't still driving on stock tires. Made it with no issue. Hike didn't go quite as we planned so ended up parked in a dispersed site by the entrance. Was kind of nice to set up right next to the 4Runner.

Degreased and cleaned the front valance.

What grit sand should I use before spraying out black? 400?
Hand sand, orbital, multitool, dremel?

*keeping the sanding and spray paint super simple, I want the paint to adhere obviously is all that matters. this thing is scratched to sh*t and will keep getting scratched - will do future touch ups with valance on vehicle.

 

Minus 18 at the top of the ski resort this morning, so wifey and I did a tour de Kootenays, stopping at various auto dealerships on the way. Saw a cybertruck on the highway, and a brand new all-black Land Cruiser at a Toyota dealership. We decided we liked our runner the best.
Was close enough to freezing when we got home (about minus 4) to give it a wash and let it dry off in the sunshine.

 

How come you don't have Pro wheels?
