Thank you for the info! I just did this mod on our 2024 4Runner this past Sunday and it looks much better. If anyone needs a harness for the passenger side, I have one ready to go: $20 shipped (from Denver, CO)

Which model 4R do you have? When I made this cable I blew the 10A fuse. ‘24 TRD ORP.

2024 4Runner TRD ORP as well. I didn't have any issues and the lights started right up. Not sure which bulbs you went with, but I did use the Diode Dynamics Fog Light version mentioned in this thread (all my other bulbs are Diode Dynamics). I only put the harness adapter on the passenger side and used the grounding bolt on that side (had to use a ratcheting wrench and some patience to loosen and tighten the bolt)

I bought Auxbeam Amber LEDs. I’ll take your extra harness to try and see what I’m doing wrong. PM me your Venmo?

Did you splice the positive and ground together?

I ended up going with the kit from Vleds. Very simple to install. Plug and play and includes the DRL running lights and resistors. No cutting or splicing needed. A bit of a premium but figured it was worth it. Been loving the look since installed.

I have a couple extra harnesses available with or without wire loom. Ground wire is extra long should you decide to ground at location other than the standard. Ring terminal included just cut the ground to length and crimp on the ring terminal. Or I can provide the harness complete so you just install. PM me if your interested. I'll ship from Orange County, CA.
