    How high is your lift? That's the only floor jack I could find to lift mine enough to remove a wheel. My 4R has a 2 -3/4" lift.

    Nice. I want one the next time I get a coupon or they go on sale. My driveway is bumpy and it should work well. I currently have a Husky 3 ton and a Daytona 1.5 ton. The little Daytona is great for lifting just one wheel. It’s so light and can be carried with one hand.

    Why not just lift under the rear axle and front control arms?

    No, just don’t have the space. I actually don’t have a garage. Living in a loft w/ most of my tools crammed into a closet. Im just going to continue using my Safe Jack bottle jack with extensions lifting things just enough to throw a stand underneath. I’ll continue to keep my eye open for a small size 3 ton jack that’ll also accept extensions.

    you dont need extension if you jack it up under the control arm, rear diff or lower rear shock mount. Do it right and dont risk it by “making” your jack work with extensions. Theres no need for that

    For lifting the axle a few inches off the ground I use a DIY adapter. One for rear axle and one for front lower control arms. My adapters will keep the factory (or bottle) jack from slipping . The hole in the front contol arm accepts the solid pin welded in my front adapter. They travel in the vehicle jack cubby.

    I have this jack and am happy with it. enough height on its own to do rear suspension / springs. Can be had in the $180 range in one of the frequent sales / coupons. An added benefit, since it is low profile, I can store it with the front 95% under my workbench lower shelf. Just the rear wheels and handle protrude.
