So what's your 4Runner giving you for mileage? My '18 Premium with only 1,300 miles on it is reading 21.2 mpg as of yesterday I've done a lot of highway with it so far. It's actually been at a high of 21.4 I believe since getting it.

My '17 TRD ORP has 16,600 miles on it. The computer says it gets 16.7 mpg.

FWIW...I'm running C load range Nitto Ridge Grapplers in the stock size (265/70/17). They are mounted on Konig Countersteer Type X wheels. No lift kit...still factory suspension.

No other mods done to my 4Runner.

My 2018 ORP has 2200 km on it. I installed BFGs at the dealership so it’s not running car tires. I’m getting 12.8-13 l/100 km which is about 18 mpg in US metric. Not a Prius! But for a 4 litre engine powering a tank of a vehicle that’s pretty good. More importantly, with 8 air bags, it has to be one of the safest vehicles on the road.

Oh I've got zero mods to it just the way it was delivered. Well except a remote starter which doesn't count in this case.

My 18 Limited is getting 20.5 for that past 3 tank fills. I mainly drive highway through towns and up/down hills top speed of 60 and only about 5 stoplights for a 25 minute ride. Better than my 2012 F-150 (ecoboost) did, it only got 18.5 at best.

My 2018 SR5 (stock) hovers in the high 17mpg range. I tend to have a heavy foot though...

I got 21 on a 4 hour trip this past weekend. 2006 Runner with V8 4X4(all-time 4wd on this model). New spark plugs but cracked exhaust manifolds. Probably would have been 22-23 if I had some Doug Thorleys installed.

I get 20-21mpg in warmer weather an 19-19.5mpg in colder weather especially when the gas changes to the winter blend. This is a daily driver and 5 days a week it run half of the trip to from work (64 mile round trip) at 45mph and the other half interstate 60 - 70 mph.

I used to get 20 to 21 combined consistently, lots of freeway driving back and forth to work. But going to BFG KO2 tires in LT285/70R17 "E" rated, I get a litte over 18 now. I was expecting a drop, all good... The stock tire weighs 40, these almost 60 pounds and an inch taller. Lifting the truck never effect my gas mileage, but increasing the rotating mass by 50% with aggressive tread did.

This is good for me, atm with winter, and my lazy ass and auto start lol .. warm that beotch up on the reg... (around high 15s to kinda 17s, is norm norm for me)

    285 Ko2's here, pushing over 20k on,.. yep,. a 2018.

I drive mine, .. drive the hell outta it, and it does me well. Do I wish It did better mpg, and had more power wise, with outta doubt. But, knew what I was buying, and getting into, when I looked for 2 plus years, and then bought.
It's a heavy brick, that I feel, will keep going, and giving back,..for deacades, and several 100 thousand miles.
    That's the plan anyway!!!

I love mine. Absolutely love it.

Just drove ours to San Francisco and hit 1,000 on our pro. We averaged 20 on the way there and 18.5 on the way back. I filled up before we left and reset the mpg counter, I was blown away we got 20 mpg on the way there, the needle barely moved from full when we got there and we are about 50 miles away from SF.

I'm heading to Missoula next week dragging a Toyota truck bed size trailer with 3 sets of tires and some other crap. The plan is for no less than 7 stops to top off the tank. Unladen, the dash reads 15.6 but I'll be checking realtime MPG both ways.
Most of the drive will probably be in S4 with a few 3's on the climbs and 5th on the down grades.
Why the hell didn't they offer us a 5sp manual with a lower 1st gear than the Tacos, why!! Mine only sees 'D' when I'm creeping along in the drive-thru at In-N-Out Burgers.

Have had mine for about 5 months now. Just last week realized there was an onboard computer that had been calculating my mileage all along. In about 7,000 miles of mostly in town driving, with a few short (60 mile) trips, it had been averaging 18.3 MPG. Took it on its first long trip over Christmas...about 900 miles round trip, lots of long hills to climb (drove from South Carolina, up through the mountains of Western NC and TN, through VA and into WV and back) with the cruise set on 75 most of the trip, and average 19.9.
