Does someone on here make matte black flag decals for the rear quarter windows?

Can't wait to see what you have in mind for the lower half of that window.

It appears there is no real correct answer. It says you can wear a patch on either arm.
I am not military or anything. I have just wondered the same thing before.

No. The union (stars) should always face forward.

“The flag should be displayed with the stars in the upper left-hand corner, with an important exception. A flag displayed on the passenger side of a vehicle should show the stars at the upper right-hand corner. Isn't that backward? It is, but the reason is that the field of stars should always be in the highest position of honor.”

The flag is worn that way on uniforms because Americans are always moving forward and we do not retreat (so my drill instructor told us). Military uniforms have the flags in the same positions with the stars always forward. In the Navy we wore what we call the crows on our lapels, in a wartime position the beaks of these crows would face out from our collars, in peace they would be facing inward.

Amazon has a bunch of sellers. You can get them universal and trim them yourself or get them pre-cut for the 5th gen too.

Where did you find that decal? I’d kill to have a custom one with Mt. Rainier but would settle for the generic mountains.

Hey guys, I am new to this forum. Although I didn't join in regards to decals, I own a vinyl graphics company based out of UT. Im not sure if its allowed on here for me to offer my services, so let me know and I'll delete this if so. A few of you were looking for custom qtr/panel window decals and I would be more than happy to assist you with any custom designs you would like. Shoot me an email at nivek@acorngfx.com with your idea and I would be more than happy to send you a design rendition and pricing for it.

You can view my work on Instagram/Facebook @acorngfx or my website at www.acorngfx.com.

I think it's meant for bravery as it's the direction the flag would face when rushing into battle.

I didn't read every post below this so I'm sorry if someone else mentioned it.

Don't suppose they make them for the Gen 2's? I think our back windows are bigger than the newer ones.

Well I tried to find some on Etsy and couldn't. It's possible you could order some for the 3rd gen and adapt it to the 2nd gen windows you have. The 3rd gen windows are pretty big also. It may not cover every square inch but so what.

Im trying to find the same decals but they install on the inside of the glass instead of on the outside. Ive seen them on the road but cant locate them anywhere. Anybody know where to get them?

The bigger tinting businesses will have the templates to make vinyl decals that install on the inside of the glass. Keep in mind these decals are harder to see from the outside, especially if you have a tint, and they will not be the same size as the outside of the window due to the pillars and moldings on the inside of the vehicle. Another option is to have someone cut your decal slightly bigger than the overall dimensions of the glass. You would then install the decal and trim the excess vinyl. If you have any other questions or need any more info, reply here or shoot me an email at nivek@acorngfx.com.
