What things about your 4Runner are a first for you?

Yep, it's very handy. The downside is foul weather. I drive a lot in cold places and snow and ice make the radar useless in no time.

 

Backup Camera
Phone connectivity (Still don't know how to always make it work with my iPhone)
Roll Down Rear Window
All the Buttons and Gadgets on my steering wheel and dash I still haven't figured out.
(I'm coming from an 06 Tacoma TRD Off Road)

 

Cup holders --- seriously
I'd never had a vehicle with cup holders until 2017 when I bought my 2018 OR ... so I don't get super annoyed when the inserts stick to my cup. Better than the alternative and the many uncomfortable spills.

They say CD's are old school though I miss it on my 2023 Runner.

 

Took a road trip to Fort Sumner yesterday, and listened to 3 CDs.

 

Yeah cool. I think they used to listen to CDs at Fort Summer too.

 

First Toyota, or any Japanese vehicle for that matter.
First 4x4 with IFS.
First 4x4 with an E-locker.
First vehicle with Bluetooth and a nav screen. First vehicle with backup cam.

 

Yup. They had pre-Apple Play mules.

 

Yeah, those mules were reliable but their tech sucked.

 

first time all the way out to the legendary mud flats.

 

First time the option to go offroad is available
