A Lime Rush Observation

I like it! Prob would not complain if I had any color.

 

There's a lime rush pro that lurks in my locale. It looks nice.

 

Hmmm, I can only say from the day I got my 2022 Lime Rush 4 runner people honk the horn waving a thumbs up to people just saying how they love the color!

 

Can't help but wonder how it would look with bright gold or maybe tan wheels.
Yeah, mentally I can see it with satin finish desert tan wheels and maybe some other tan trimmings.

 

At first I 2nd guessed my decision to buy my 2022 Lime Rush- was looking hard at the 24 Terra. Now I’m glad I pulled the trigger. Months later, and several mods completed I have to say it’s been an interesting experience getting used to the color

 

I found Lime Rush to be repellent when it first came out. Over time it’s grown on me though. I think it looks better on the Off Road trims, with silver wheels and badging. Some colors support the blackout look better than others. I think part of the issue with Lime Rush is the name. It sounds like the flavor of a canned cocktail.

I am not one who likes to draw attention to himself, but do enjoy the attention my T4R gets.

 

From the pictures, I originally expected to hate this color. But, it looks way better in person.

Am I the only person who thinks it looks especially good on sunny days?

Kind of like how my last 4Runner, which was Phantom gray Pearl, looked better on overcast days.

 

It amazes me how much lighting can make a difference on colours. I bought my 2020 Tacoma 6MT new in 2020, and was having a hard time finding one in manual.

I dismissed Barcelona Red when I saw it on the lot, as it was dusty and sitting under a hail tent. I eventually saw one all cleaned up in the bright sun and fell in love with the colour. Ended up going back and making a deal on it.

 

I love this color! My 2015 Taco was Barcelona Red. It's one of the few colors I can think of that actually looked good in bright sunshine, and on overcast days. To me, it almost looked orange in the sun, and maroon on an overcast day.

 

My wife has a 2023 TRD Off Road with X Pred package in Lime Rush. I live in western North Carolina and there is only one other 4 Runner in Lime Rush and its a Pro over in Waynesville. The color is nice and come May when the fresh spring leaves are on the trees in the mountains, the car just blends right into the surroundings.

I travel to Orlando area quite a bit and I honestly dont see many between here and there and I have yet to see one in the Orlando area.

I will say this. I live on a gravel road and when it gets dusty, the color hides dirt very well. Only the black windows and wheels truly show the dirt. We are holding onto this vehicle for a long time. Some of yall hate the color ,but to me the terra color is the worse . Its like a clay pot from Lowes or Adobe mud. To each his own I suppose.

 

Like rush, solar flare, army green, terra, that bright blue ... Toyota does colors right.

 

It is funny that you mention this. Just this morning my wife commented on how you don't really even notice the dirt on mine. Her vehicle is black and shows everything. Life is too short to drive vehicles with no colour.

 

Agreed. I won’t own another car that is black, white, any version of silver, or gray.

 

Mine is silver, and even when it's absolutely filthy it still looks fairly clean, unless it's actual mud. But I agree, this is my second silver car in a row, and I'm very bored with it.

Our local mail carrier has a Taco in this color. It's a sight to behold in person. Nice ride!

 

Thanks. It was my old truck. I no longer have it, but I miss it. Fun Fact: In the dark this paint job glowed a little bit. I'm not shitting you. It was like an Indiglo watch.

 

By the time I got around to buying a 4Runner in August 2024, the dealership had black or white on order with the SR5/SR5P. There's gotta be six of us that are all driving into work the about the same time every day in white, black and silver. Never thought I'd go out of my way to buy a white vehicle but really love it on the 4Runner, even if there's a ton of them on the road.

 

As others have said, Toyota does have some cool colors. I looked high and low to find my Lunar Rock but eventually found one.

 

For real. My 2016 Tacoma was Inferno, 2020 Tacoma Barcelona Red and now my Lime Rush 4Runner. I have also owned a couple blue cars and a yellow Mustang.
