I've not used those Osrams. But I've run several sets of these Philips. Usually get about 2 years. Slightly whiter/brighter than stock. A very nice bulb.

As a new 4runner owner I need some guidance. Will these bulbs act as low beams only? Is there a separate high beam bulb?

It's my understanding that you shouldn't run HID in our halogen reflectors.

The HID’s work fine, been running in my 14 since new. Nice cutoff, hotspot, and spread. Far superior to halogen. Spend extra to buy quality stuff.

Here is a great kit, I’ve installed them on numerous 4Runners.

    https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/282591853710

You will need to drill a 1 inch hole in the dust cover cap to run the wires through and mount the ballasts on the outside of the light.

You need H11B bulbs And I wouldnt go any higher than 5000k.

Not to hijack the thread, but the xenondepot HID's really are the way to go. Huge upgrade over halogens. Our halogen projectors handle the HID's just fine.

I've never been too impressed with aftermarket halogen upgrades, typically to increase light they decrease longevity.

I was at my local Stereo Shop and got these to replace to match LED's on my DRL's. It was costly at $150 but it's nice and very bright at night....I will post pics later if interested

Id like to see the actual parts, no such thing as 38W.

There is so much relabled junk out there and most is all the same.

As long as it is bright to match my other LED"s not pulling it out to show u. I agree that there are relabled items out but I am happy with mine.

You want the H11B bulb and 5000k.

Make sure to put this in the notes section to the seller. These are Hylux ballasts and CN light bulbs, very good quality.

So the beam pattern will be exactly the same with HID's as it is with halogen?
