Not exactly coming over fully, but got the wife a 2016 4r 4x4 SR5 brand new last Christmas

Just finishing up my Tundra, and looking at a new project, my wife's runner.

So here is my Tundra.. build thread https://www.tundras.com/threads/papasmurfs-07-4x4-lt-expedition-build.9817/

    07 Silver Sky 4x4 Tundra | Total Chaos LT | 2.5 King Coil overs & Bypasses Front | Camburg Bed Cage | 3.0 King Bypasses | 2.0 King Bumps | Custom Deavers | Nitro 4.88's | ARB Locker | Demello Sliders | 17" Double Standards | BFGKO2 37's | Custom Bumpers | Baja Designs Lighting

anyway first mod on the wifes runner was 275/70/17 BFG ko2's and spare was replaced too..

love it already, next up is all new LED fog and headlight bulbs, have them at home waiting for install. After that I'm thinking TRD intake to open up the intake a bit, 1 complaint about the runner is they feel choked up. Hoping that helps a bit. anyone have opinions on that?

Pedal Commander = Fix "perception" of choked up. Please do this before any other performance mods and you'll see. The Pedal Commander IS NOT a performance mod and won't add any horsepower, but it will give you an amazing return on investment due to the increased throttle response. You will be amazed at the difference it makes.

Does it change mpg or anything like that?? I’ll go do some research... but thanks for that. And any thoughts on TRD intake.. have one on my tundra and love it.

Lol... probably. Most enhancements do because of user input, as it's a lot more fun. My 4R is still under 2k miles and my mileage still sucks (sub 16's) so I can't attribute anything to the PC. I can say that I scoot down the road with a bit more haste though ;). I've read a ton on intakes for this beast and I'm sold on NOT doing one. That's my opinion though so I won't comment past that due to anyone that has opposing views ;).

Seems to be the trend us Tundra guys buying our wife a 4runner :). She likes tiffany blue. She has full ads 2.5's with clickers all around and icon springs in the rear and super bumps all around. It works awesome on and offroad.
