Have any of you replaced your interior door panel lights (down low) with led? How'd it work out?

Replaced em all. Dope lights, all doors, back door, license plate light. Took 20 mins if that to do em all, while horsing around. I think everyone on this forum does this, as one of thier first changes.

Why did you change them are the LEDs noticeably brighter? What did you replace with and where did you get them?

Actually I find the headlights very dull and don't illuminate much any replacement for those? Just don't want on-coming traffic "flashing" me all the time because their blinded.

Most replace the OEM low beams as well on here. There is also a way popular "tail as turn" option many do for exterior stuffs. Diode dynamics, if i recall makes that quick, easy mod, i think. Anyway.....

As far as the inside replacements ,.. you can get them from all over the place, (just like the head lamp replacements) I got my entire inside kit from HID kit pro's.
Some, on here, gave me some static, that i could have saved like 3 cents or some shit, finding and ordering them separate, but meh,.... click the rig you have, then the bulbs and colors you want, and your done.

    20180504_062629.jpg

Came fast, and was pretty damn cheap i thought, for the entire lot. (i forgot i did the mirror lights too)

The little tool, i giggled at, at first, turned out to be a MONSTER help lol. I thought it was kinda a joke, but holy hell it was handy as shit to pop off the lens or get behind whatever. The coupon code worked for a buddy recently, so, make sure you use that, if you choose to go that route. Best of luck either way. (You'll be fine,... all of them are VERY simple)

Well, I did blue lol. Cuz i love blue. But yes. Half and again more bright than OEM bulb

To me, every single cent worth swapping yes. And so easy.
As far as exterior stuff. Youd have to speak to someone else. I haven't touched my OEM exterior light shit. Except I swapped to a amber fog.

Philips H11 +100's are a great low beam bulb. Amazon. They're like 30 bucks. But you'll prob just get about 1.5-2 years out of them. But they're a nice beam.

^^ See my previous post re. Philips H11's. The +100 and +60 are both better than the stock (OEM) long life bulbs. They're non coated and burn very slightly whiter.

No, one light in each door. The ones I referenced from Amazon are two lights in each, one shines like the original and the other shines the logo on the ground. Look closely at the Amazon pictures. I ordered two packages of two lights each. They are all the same and fit the original opening and factory connectors just plug in.

Gotcha. Now I'm following. Kinda neat. Sorta like puddle lights on the side-view mirrors.

I pulled these pics off the Amazon reviews. Were they plug and play for you? One of the reviews said he had to bend one of the connectors for a '15 4runner.

Interesting that the mirror bulbs appear different than the maps/door in your kit. They're all 168/194 if I'm not mistaken?

Ordered my interior set on Friday as well as some brighter reverse bulbs
Always do this on my Toyota’s. The oem bulbs are so dull and outdated

Which 921's did you go with? I'm thinking about doing the Philips.

I ordered all of mine through csjumper2003 on Tacoma world. He’s supplied me bulbs for several Tacoma’s and has been my go to for led purchases for a few years now. Always top of the line and excellent service
