Installed an SSO blacked out roof rack and and rock sliders. Took her fishin to celebrate. Lookin at wheels and suspension next. Cant lie though, next gen 4runner rumors got me thinking about slowing this build down a bit, for a possible trade in down the road. We'll seeIMG_3239.jpg IMG_3269.jpg

Very true, im probably just overthinking. I just sense a more aggressive capable runner coming next. Could be completely wrong though. And got skunked at that hole, left and hit a couple ponds i live near. Caught a handful of crappy and bass. Fish pics with the runner next time, i fish every other day so i dont take many pics of catches

I hear ya. this runner is pretty capable tho. I dont know if I would get a the new one. I guess if it came in a nice diesel and I absolutely loved the style I would consider it. then again I do out right own mine and have put a bunch of nice stuff in it already. have to cross that bridge when we get there.

Agreed, that doesnt sound like an upgrade at all. I really hope this isnt the direction they go. I kind of hope toyota has raptor, jeep, and the just announced ram trx in the back of their minds when desinging this. I dig certain qualities from those vehicles and would love to see the runner as a tough competitor stock

I have 12,800 miles on my truck and this is the 4th set of tires under it including the original ones which came off at 326 miles. Original. BFG KO2, Ridge Grappler, now the AT3W. I get bored way to quick to care about tread life lol. I have had them since Sunday though, maybe 100 miles on them so far and I'm happy with them. Really haven't done anything than street driving though so pretty much any tire will do there.

Nice, any specific reason you ditched the ko2s and ridge grapplers?

Assuming you're talking to me, no. My stock 2016 SR5 wheels and tires made their way to my 2005 4Runner. Sold the KO2's and currently have the Ridge Grapplers for sale.

Ah, sounds like you're able to recoup some of the cost then. If at some point you'd like to try all-season tires, my Michelin LTXs are the best tires I've had on my bigger vehicles (taco, sienna, 4R).

Nah I like aggressive tires. Street tires don't do anything for me. So far the Ridge Grapplers were my favorite in terms of looks.

Hey, crew. I'm looking at a brand new 4 runner. Would you guys have any concern about buying a truck that's been sitting on the lot for 6 months? Or is this pretty typical?

Not typical at all. These trucks sell FAST and generally do not site around that long at all. What is the price, model, mileage, color?
