    Update:

I took dmac28's suggestion and contacted Costco. They linked me up with Larry Miller Toyota in Boulder (the AutoNation is no longer shown as a Costco dealer).

Miller has two TRD Off Road's with the features I want, a 2018 and a 2019. Before I pull the trigger, I want to know if anyone has had a particularly good or bad experience with them. The salesman's name is Nang Ng and he said he has been there for 20 years.

    Anyone?

I live on the east coast, but Toyota in its wisdom has decided not to configure a 2019 TRD Off Road in nautical blue with KDSS and premium audio in the east. We have a direct flight to Denver, so I'm looking for a dealer in the area that you've done business with and would recommend (I used to live in Colorado, so a visit and the drive back would be pluses for me.)

    Anyone?

I bought through Costco and they use Autonation Toyota on Arapahoe. Made it an easy transaction.

I have personally used Automotive Avenues for the 4Runner and have several times for other vehicles. They are a broker and will search for, and bring in any vehicle you want them to. They put a price on it and that is the price you pay. No negotiations and they have given me the best prices, well below MSRP. They also don't work on commission so they don't try to pressure you into anything. If you want more info let me know.

Yeh. Want to say it was like $2k or so less. Hit up Costco and go through the form. The dealer will contact you with a quote. Was really happy with the overall process.

Mountain states toyota and Groove toyota have the best prices in the area. I got my 2018 way under MSRP from Groove.

Bought mine from them. Pretty standard purchase process. Salesman winds you up, finance guy tries to sell you extras. I just kept saying no, paid my money and moved on. Not a bad experience, but no over the top praise, either.

Mine will be for a specific vehicle VIN, cash, no trade, to be driven out of state, so should be pretty simple. Thanks for your feedback!

I'm impressed: two days ago, I contacted the Costco dealer in Boulder, CO, by phone from Richmond, VA, to inquire about a 2019 TRD Off Road. Today, I signed an agreement to buy (not a contract) a specific VIN that meets my requirements, at 7% off MSRP (cash sale, no trade-in, excl. TT&L). Not near the discounts available on 2018 closeouts with the factory incentives, but I couldn't find one of those that met my needs (and this one has black roof rails!)

According to the sales agent, the VIN I have on hold left the factory floor in Japan two days ago. On the 15th (which is two days from now) it will sail from Japan, arriving in LA on October 2. After that, it will take 2-3 weeks for the addition of port-installed options and shipment by rail to Denver.

Pretty amazing to me that an individual vehicle can be tracked from the factory to the dealer with such precision and in such a short window.

How much under MSRP do people usually save? I know it depends on the auto buying service or broker you work with. I don't shy away from flying across the country if I'm going to save a couple thousand over MSRP.
