hey man, what else comes on the truck? is the vehicles tow ready i.e.upgraded radiator and alternator if is then you will need the wiring harness and a hitch. however, if it's not tow ready with a tow prep package then you'll need some other goods. bigger radiator, alternator, wiring kit and hitch.
also, what kind of towing we talking bout here?

I get it... no tow package but tow prep package
and tow package are 2 different things. n-e-way, short answer yes the connection should be the under dash. buy a kit and run the wires. keep in mind, you probably want to upgrade the radiator and alternator too. visit etrailer on the line for the harness. hope this helps

So I picked up my T4R yesterday and found out there is a round trailer jack right near the rear bumper and since I already had the adaptor from my Explorer I tried it out on my boat and everything is good
So check one thing off the list..... now I will decide whether to have the class 3 installed or do it myself for half price
    Amazon has it for $103

i am going to be towing my boat just shy of 100 miles soon. will only do that twice a year, with very short ramp trips in between. that will be the total amount of towing, unless i get roped into something else haha. do i need to upgrade the radiator or install a cooler or something along those lines? i am pretty engine ignorant; what is the upgraded alternator for? TIA
