Toytec 3" lift, SPC UCA's, Nitto Terra Grapplers. Installed the lift and control arms myself with the help of Wonderlost Overland videos! Love how the truck came out. Lost about 2 miles per gallon at 65 MPH.

looks gerrrr8! trust me, the lift is well worth the mpg loss if you make a habit of using the lift. :burnrubber: but even if you dont....still looks crz nice

thank you for the responses. I took if off road in the mountains near my house over the weekend. I thought it handled very good. No regrets! Got the alignment done. Great job by Western Edge Auto in Palmdale!

What are you post lift measurements. Center hub to lower fender lip?

I plan to do the same setup as you did, but install shop said I need to put on new wheels with different backspacing to move the tire out. The shop claims the stock wheels will cause the tire to rub on the upper control arm. Do you have any rubbing on the UCAs or in other areas?

you can opt for 1.25" wheel spacer on stock wheels to give you the kick out you want. that's my set up, had to trim the fat off of the body mount without compromising the integrity of the mount. I'm sure a 1" spacer will do the job.

I replaced my UCA's to avoid this. I was told if I left my factory UCA's the tires would rub. Ive taken off road and have no issues. Sorry for delay on response

Thanks for the followup! Are you experiencing any steering wheel shake, say around 60 mph? My new totally stock TRD Off Road has a slight shake just around 60. In checking around, I see that MANY are having the same issue with both stock and modified Gen 5 4Runners and are going through Hell to try and solve the problem. My 2004 4Runner with a spacer lift and 285s was smooth for the 140K miles I owned it. I am now reluctant to modify my 2018 if it will just be an exercise in frustration that never gets resolved.

About the loss of gas mileage you experienced after the lift and larger tires. If you have not done a speedometer correction fix, your MPH, distance traveled and MPG are displaying about 10% low with the 285 tires. I was reminded of this by Discount Tire when I put 285s on my old 2004 4Runner. They put it in writing I think as a CYA for them.
