Installed the taco garage DMM and blacked out the badges on the Runner today. Both very simple processes and took about the same amount of time.

In the last week I installed TRD CAI and the highly debated TRD Pro exhaust. Roof rack may be the next thing I do on my TRD Sport :D

Installed a Sprint Booster, and cleaning up the Trail Running Boards that used to be on the previous 4Runner. Glad I hadn't sold this stuff off yet!

While I haven't driven enough with it in the new 4Runner yet. I have one installed in both my FJ Cruiser and Ram 1500, and I can safely say that I love the Sprint Booster. Multiple settings to really dial in the responsiveness, and I haven't had any of the sudden acceleration issues that I started to run into with the Pedal Commanders that were installed on previous vehicles.

I keep researching these things and am paranoid about the potential negatives that are floating around out there.

I've had a Sprint Booster for 2 years now. Absolutely zero issues. I had read about a few problems with the Pedal Commander and passed on that. When I discovered the SB, I could not find one complaint or issue about it. No regrets and I'd buy it again. Super easy to program and has a valet mode.

Factory size are 265, the spare would be the same size unless you bought used and someone swapped it.

Push the gas a little, 4R goes a little. No more of that push-the-gas-1/2-way before it goes.

In other words, throttle response. I hated pressing the gas "that far" to get the response I was looking for while merging. The Sprint Booster program allowed me to set the response to my liking. It won't give you more power, but your right foot will be happier.

When I took it for the test ride, I programmed RACE9, just to see what that was like. Simply touching the gas a teeny-tiny bit felt like I had floored it. Was a Holy S%$T moment. I now have it set to Sport2.

What's the brand of the grill lights? I installed a set of Seven Sparta grill lights on my daughter's '23 TRD ORP, and have a set on my '23 Limited (different styles), both with smoked lenses. One can hardly tell they're in the grill until they come on, which is only when the headlights are on. I ran a bead of silicone around the base of the lenses, so water couldn't get into them. I'm hoping they'll last a good long time, but?

Ah, so since you replaced the DRLs with another set of headlights, your Raptor-style lights are on all the time? I wouldn't expect them to wear out like that after seven months, but having them on all the time probably didn't help. But you'd think LED chips would last thousands of hours?

After having our new born my 4Runner is only doing short trips. So those LED chips should only have few duty hours. This 4Runner only got 20K miles ODO as of today. Didn't expect it to go bad this quick.
