This past weekend in Tahoe

 

Where is that exactly?

Last weekend I drove by Christopher creek passed Payson on my way to Colorado and it was gorgeous.


on the way back I drove through 4 corners and it was very stormy with high winds blowing sand on the road then hit a snowstorm going through Flagstaff. It was fun though.

 

I love these photos. I miss driving through the southwest. I may have to do another road trip soon.

 

Stuck at home and daydreaming while working on the computer...

It's easy to spot the CGI, since there isn't a speck of dust on the tires in spite of driving through a desert, and the interior is more visible than in any 4Runner photo I've seen, but still a fun photoshop job.

 

Yup, I was just bored sitting at home and not being out on a trail somewhere....guy can daydream right?

Roaming the NC mountains. Found the limits of the stock Dunlops on a damp 30-degree slope. Rear locker and Atrac on, still wouldn’t make it. Tire store, here we come.

The 4Runner only got off road as far as the parking lot today but the wife, pup, and I got out and explored the Lost Dutchman State Park. Absolutely beautiful! My pics do it no justice at all

 

Did you encounter traffic from the marathon?

 

Fuck me yes ... the park is 15 min from my house ... took me almost 1.5 hrs. I somehow had missed the fact there was a marathon and every alternate route I tried was equally backed up. But it was a date day for my wife and I so I pushed on and it turned out amazing.
