Does anyone know what this hook thing is in my 97 Toyota 4runner?

    When i bought my 97 Toyota 4runner it came with a hook thingy in the passenger side i have no idea what its use for can anyone help thanks i might just remove it only has 4 screws.

    Thats for cup holders i think ive seen after market ones mounted like that

    It’s a ball mount for an accessory arm or attachment. Could be any number of things. I’d just remove it and plug the holes

    It does look like a RAM ball mount that someone installed on their own.

    Joystick for the little known Atari option. If you cycle the ignition 3 times then set the cruise, it doubles as the steering wheel. Best way to test is on the interstate. Only works above 71mph. It’s pretty cool.









    God I hope nobody actually does this. Strange days.
