New to this forum, not to Toyota/Lexus vehicles (since 1974). I seem to go back and forth between Jeeps and 4Runners. I recently picked up a 2013 Trail w/KDSS. No mods right now, just getting it in shape and a few problems fixed. New BFG KO2s will be first buy next month then probably sliders. I'd like to go a larger tire size, probably 33 or 34 and want to find out about a lift that is probably required.

4Runner and Jeep purchases are a direct result of being a geocacher and interested in the off-road geocaches in the Eastern Sierra and the Mojave Desert.

The picture is taken at the Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area where I took it for a shake down run to check the 4x4 features. All good.

Mad driver mod. OME Suspension. 285/70R17 BFG AT KO2
Welcome! I am familiar with holster hills.

I had a 2010 Trail edition and am not in a 2017 TRD Offroad Premium (trail with heated seats and pleather). I’ve run and am running OME suspension with 285/70/R17’s (32.8” tire).

Looking forward to the future mods on it
