What is this piece from?

This came off my 2016 SR5 4Runner when the truck was slanted sideways on a bank at a 45 degree angle. I can't find where it goes.

 

I could be wrong but check all you door openers by the locking thing on the inside and see if any are missing a backing plate, i know mine fall out all the time after removing a door panel to fix a rattling speaker

 

That's a left hand door handle bezel according to the part number.

 

It fit behind the left door handle. There were some papers in front of the handle so I didn't see that the piece was missing. Thank you all for your help!
