Hey fellas just recently bought a 2018 4Runner trd off road. I’m in the Covina area looking to meet great people to go out on trails with. Love all that stuff.

Hey what’s going on Andy! Yes I have ... I live close to Azusa canyon so i took her out there may 12 to test her features and what she can do ... it was a lot of fun. That’s all I have done so far but I would like to do more trails. If you want to go to Azusa or check out a trail let me know!

I’m debating whether to get the Trd Pro wheels or keep the original wheels. Any difference between the two wheels ?

I switched to the pro wheels and love love love them. I get compliments all the time. If feesible financially I would definitely recommend them.

Both wheels are 17s you can use your original tires if you desire. But the matte black ones are beautiful.

Did you black out the front end yourself or did you buy those aftermarket?

What's the price for the TRD PRO wheels?
I think I got a great deal with my rims and tires, I went with some Method Rims and 285/70/17 BF Goodrich KO2
There was (still is slightly) some rubbing with these tires but I made a slight mod to the front fenders.
Oh and I also got a leveling kit on the front end.

    Thank you sir!
Where and how did you get yours done?
I was literally going to stop at Home Depot today and get this Plasti Dip and do the bottom bumper from silver to black (first) and see how it turned out.
That plastic dip had some good reviews on there but I am worried about washing my rig with that, I use a pressure washer at home to wash my cars so it worried me that it would come off.

Dang! If I would've known that I would have got those instead of my Method rims!
Maybe I still will later, if I could sell my rims for a good price so I don't lose out too much on them!

I vinyl wrapped it myself. I would recommend doing the front valance with plasti dip. I did my rear valance with plasti dip and it was quite easy and I didn’t have to remove it from the vehicle. I recommend spraying plasti dip with aerospace 303 after it cures. Gives it a nice satin shine and removes the grippy feel of plasti dip as well as prevents fading from sun exposure. I’ve also noticed after coating plasti dip with it after every wash after like a month or two the plasti dip becomes very strong almost like regular paint.

Sounds good! Thank you for that tip!
I actually just looked up the 303 and is currently in my Amazon cart!

What leveling kit did you install? I’d like to eventually install one myself. I don’t like how the nose dips down a bit.

Would you trust eBay with a set of the Trd Pro wheels? Or you know of any site that is legit .

With the amount of illegitimate wheels on eBay I would go through a legit source.

I have bought most of my stuff through this site which is a dealer and has some of the best prices I’ve found.

This is going to sound stupid but I have no idea, I took it to a shop in La Habra and they sold/installed it for me.
So far it's been good, no problems thus far. I just took it out to Pismo Beach last weekend (no sand dunes) but the drive was great no problems. I do honestly wish I knew what leveling kit they sold me though, but hopefully I can do a lift soon (within 6 months)
