My 2007 Sport Edition T4R build finally has a direction. It's going to be an urban crawler with some performance upgrades. I know that doesn't make sense but it should be cool. My priorities here are:
    1. Utility
    2. Comfort
    3. Performance
    4. Recovery
    Here's the plan:
    • Custom built steel and aluminum bumper with a wire mesh around it. I will upload my sketches in this thread soon. It should sit just flush with the headlights and front grille, or sit slightly forward of it. Aluminum would have that spray-on black rubber. Bumper Sheet.jpg
    • Aluminum Intake. Not sure what this would help with but I just hate the standard plastic one. I would fabricate this myself or have somebody bend the piping for me.
    • Custom built aluminum roof rack basket, again with the wire mesh. Roof Rack Sheet.jpg
    • A ladder to the roof, sorta in the FJC style.
    • Rear Bumper. Not many companies make these, there's only 3 or 4 that I know of. Here's the one I liked best. Also going to rubbercoat it. This is something I could weld or bolt other things to, like tow rings, Jerry Cans, antennas, folding bench rest, you name it.
    • This Lift kit by Icon (Stage 2). I'll probably set it at +3" front and +2" rear to level it out.
    • Some interior LED lighting and some LED 9005's, as well as LED Halos. I don't know why, but I am a big fan of LED.
    • Some bigger wheels. Not sure what wheels though. Something wide but sort of knobby. Suggestions?
    • A Gibson cat back system. Love the low rumble.
    • An auxiliary switchboard for lights and traction control and whatnot.
    • High Lift Jack mounted to the roof rack.
My plan is to paint the Bumpers and "contact parts" (i.e. the aluminum parts and trim) with the black rubberized coating, and the rest of the body paneling in a drab green/tan.

Good plan. Who's building the custom roof basket and front bumper?
