What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Just came back from the shop...had to push the fender liner in, trim the bumper, and remove the mud flaps in the front... tire is very close to the cab mount at full turn, maybe within a millimeter or two...The body roll and nosedive has been completely eliminated... It feels great on the road so far, definitely stiffer...was able to achieve 3.1 and 3.3 castor...

It's rubbing quite a bit. I need to push the liner back ASAP.

I was going to wait for C4's aluminum version but this is a great option!

 

Got the rack painted. Used a few coats of Rust-Oleum satin black. I think it looks much better.



Also got a picture of my Diode Dynamics "Tails-as-Turn" module and quad reverse lights. To be punny, it really is like night and day.

LOL! I got the fever already

 

I had 325 miles on mine when I swapped wheels and tires, 1400 miles when the lift went it lol

 

Truth...

 

well, got all the glass tinted with some ceramic tints!... windshield and sunroof is 80%, front row is 35% everywhere else was 20%

 

also painted Rago fabrication molle storage and installed it......

it was from the groupbuy, raw. cleaned it. primed it. truck liner'd it.

 

Still waiting on mine…looks good, so what brand of paint did you go with and did you prime first?

 

This is what i used:

cleaned and dried
primed with about 3 light - med coats
truck bed paint with 2 coats. cured overnight.

 

How would this product be on the roof rails?

 

Ordered some 3000K LED bulbs for the high beams. I always liked the look of the yellow DTRL of my 2011 Taco so we'll see how these look on the 4Runner.

 

That roof rack though! Awesome! Where did you get your Red Can and bracket in the ladder?
