Added Bushwacker fender flairs, Method rims, larger tire and carbon fiber hood wrap.

Thanks for the compliment on the 4Runner. Adds a little more bad-ass look.
Car and truck final wraps are very common. Look up companies that specialize in cars in your area. You should be able to see a gallery of vehicles that were done. Possibly even reviews.
The best quality Carbon Fiber wrap is either Avery or 3m. In actuality it’s not really carbon fiber. Just a vinyl look-a-like.
Total cost for instal in around $300. If you look at the close-up the hood scoop it was wrapped separately. A much cleaner look. The installer will have to remove the scoop from the inside of the hood. Very straight forward.

By the way the Bushwacker fender flairs are only attached to the factory holes in the wheel wells. NO drilling in the body. Everything I added can be removed.
You can have them custom painted to match you vehicle for a more conservative look

Thanks for the reply! we live in a podunk area and aren’t familiar with any places. I called the tint place and although they did a good job on our tint, they weren’t much help with finding a place to do this for us. We considered having it painted but didn’t want the downtime. I sent a few messages to local people to see if they have any suggestions. Anytime we travel towards the sun, it’s a blinder!

The actual instal takes only about 2 hours max. You could make arrangements in a larger city that has companies that do wraps. Order in advance the wrap material and take a field trip.
What’s you closest city?
I like the flat texture of the wrap I chose. Non-glare.
Painting is permanent as well.
Just a thought.

 

Which “Bushwacker” model or type of fender flares are these? … seems like they have a few to select from for 4Runner’s

I don’t have the stock number. There is only one model number for the newer gen 5 4runners.
Give Bushwacker for the details. There are many resellers. The price is a rip though. About $475. Ridiculous for plastic.
There are lots of YouTube’s if you plan on installing it yourself.
Also, as I said on the last message, they can be painted if you want a more conservative look.
