My 2018 4R rear window wiper does not travel much on the drivers side. There is a plastic stop preventing further travel. Any fixes?

    Pattern looks exactly like mine.

I never really tried to extend it further nor really cared to so I don’t know if the plastic stop is the limiting factor or if the motor stops and reversed before it.

yep kinda annoys me too..not to mention the fact that this window gathers a lot of dirt rain or shine

Hmm never really noticed how far the wiper traveled. But, I never use it. I don’t like the clean space on a dirty window. Little ocd I suppose.

This bugs me and was one of the first things that I noticed.

I solved the problem by putting my coonie's travel kennel back there on the driver's side. Now, can't see sh*t out that side.

On front wipers you can usually pull them off for adjustment. You just take it off and put it back on, rotating about 2 or 3 degrees clockwise. So it will travel a little farther on the drivers side, but it will come to rest 2 to 3 degrees higher above the wiper cowel.

Conversely, you can rotate counter clockwise and it will come to rest closer to the wiper cowel and won't travel as far to the drivers side.

I haven't looked at the rear wiper close enough to see if it's engineered the same way. It probably is? But the reason it's placed as it is is to get it up out of the way when not in use. If you make it go farther to the drivers side, it might remain exposed when not in use (hanging below the spoiler).

Jesus I have a SR5 Premium and I'm embarrassed to say I don't even know if I have a rear wiper. Haven't driven it much yet running down the old Honda for daily driving. I'll need to look tonight.
