New from Lookout Mt. Georgia

Hi.
I'm a new member from Georgia.
I recently bought a 99 Model 4Runner Limited (2 WD), and I'm looking forward to being a contributing member to this forum.
My truck has the 3.4L V6 with automatic.
The truck is loaded and has 184,000 miles.
I love it already, although I knew I would.

My oldest son also owns a 99 Model 4runner, and it's a Limited like mine (only his is a 4WD) and also has all of the options.
He has owned his truck for over 10 years, and it will soon turn over 500K miles, all without any major engine or transmission problems....still runs like it always has....smooth, and uses no oil between changes..
He did have to change a axle bearing in the rear end one time.
He will fight you over his truck, because he considers it a member of his family.

I'm looking forward to keeping this truck for the rest of my days.
I've been working on cars and trucks for over 50 years, but this is the First Toyota that I've ever owned.
I may not know much about Toyotas (yet), but I do know a lot about cars....engines....transmissions.....electrical troubleshooting.
