Hi All , Looking for some much needed help as far as converting the headlights . Wanting to start some mods and conversions on my 2018 4Runner , i know there are many different kits and types of bulbs to change over to . I am looking for a stronger and brighter bulb on both the headlight and the foglight as what is stock on the vehicle is somewhat underwhelming . Looking for help from anybody that has already done a conversion to these lights and what they have used and mostly if they were happy with the product they purchased . Just curious how much work is involved to do this the right way and not make it a temporary fix . Also was wondering if i start to change out the lights and start messing with the wiring or lighting harness , will this void any part of the warranty on my new vehicle . Any help or suggestions from anybody on my topic would be appreciated . Thank you .

    This is my current setup...

Low Beam H11- Xenon Depot H11 HID 5K (without CANBUS)
    http://www.xenondepot.com/H11-HID-Kit-Xtreme-HID-p/xt-h11.htm

Fog Light- Morimoto XB Type T LED
    http://www.morimotohid.com/fog-lights/toyota-oval-morimoto-xb-led.html

    High Beam-
    Stock

I've run pretty much every type of LED/Halogen/HID system you can think of between multiple types of vehicles. I researched a ton before I bought the current setup listed above, and have not found a setup that compares, besides a full headlight and foglight retrofit (where you crack open the headlights and actually swap out the projectors). I haven't found a solution for the high beams as LED's are too bright as DTRL, and too dim for High Beams. HID's take too long to warm up for High Beam application, and don't play well with low power DTRL function.

If you have any questions let me know.

I'm interested in this as well, and the XenonDepot product looks solid. The Morimoto link didn't work for me though.

Go to Morimoto's website and look for the type T fogs. They have 4 little bracket arms on them. Thats the ones you need.

    I decided for the following:

    Low: Profile LED from TheRetrofitSource
    High: Profile LED from TheRetrofitSource
Fogs: Morimoto 3k HID from TheRetrofitSource

I do plan on retrofitting the low beams to a projector that is made for HID. Maybe the Lexus IS projector. The high beams will stay LED. Fogs will stay HID drop-in. and hopefully someone will discover an easy way to do the foglight anytime mod.

I wouldn't recommend LED for your high beams or HID fogs in a stock reflector housing. LED's don't have the disance for high beams like HID or halogens. Also, HID's in your reflector fogs are going to cause a lot of light scatter.

Which Sabers? I had the Saber Pro 40w and was less than impressed. They had a very high speed flicker and we're way too bright as DTRL's. I uninstalled them before testing at night for those reasons.
