What options are there for replacing 2014 Limited front end. Hate the limited look but like the perks inside. Want it to look more like the other models.

There are a couple guys that have done the swap to the SR5 front end. Looked quite time consuming and expensive. Like @Buggs said, adding an offroad bumper would help but might look a bit odd of you are stock on everything else. Others have simply blacked out all the chrome on the front and it looks pretty good IMO. Maybe look for a used SR5/Trail/TRD front end from a wrecked vehicle? I've also seen some for sale from guys who have added offroad bumpers.

It's refreshing to hear from a Ltd owner who acknowledges the ugliness inherent in the front end of that chromstrosity.

That's an amazing build thread, especially since it leads off with "I am in no way mechanically inclined, but I can follow instructions. Also youtube is very helpful." So much of what gets posted about the Limited is compensatory and apologetic (myself included) perhaps because the reasons given for choosing seem to heavilty lean toward features having little or nothing to do with driving, handling or offroading: perforated and cooled leather seats, cushy XREAS, JBL sound system, full time 4WD (which rarely seems to be described as improving handling on any terrain). So, your no nonsense approach is rather unique. Great job. Great attitude.

P.S. The company that made the front bumper, which looks like a great fit, went bankrupt.

Yes, Pelfrey went bankrupt but... @BAMF bought up all their inventory at auction. If you swap to a Pro grill he has those bumpers in stock.
