Interior trim pieces

Does anyone have experience with these trim covers ?

I couldn’t believe how many finishes are in the 4Runner. Glossy metallic black, matte black, brushed plastic, fake leather, fake carbon…It’s too much

I found all the trim pieces to cover up the fake carbon but only see a few reviews.

Not sure I get the point of a fake cover to go over my fake carbon fiber.

 

I have sat in a truck that had it. The person wanted to get rid of the silver trim and went with a matt black trim overlay.
Honestly, it looked cheesy and if you looked at it closely you would know it's a stick on. Some pieces did look oem while others not soo much. Rather than stick ones, there are some made with durable plastic, than have a better appearance.
I am not sure if the ones sold by recognized websites at a considerable markup are any better in terms of quality than what you would find on Amazon.

 

Um — to reduce the number of mismatched interior finishes, as OP said in the first post.

Fake carbon fiber isn’t the worst. For me it’s the black fantasy sparkle. It looks like something one might find on a kids’ toy.

 

And we all like our toy.

 

That one seems reasonably well made, but $85.00? You'd really have to hate the carbon fiber.
