Why does the 2018 and many other 4 runners not have the grab handle on the a pillar??

    i really miss that coming from a tacoma with one on both sides and not just the passenger side. any way to add one???

    The 2016+ Tacomas don’t have the driver side grab handle either. Would be nice, though, huh? Since they don’t really obstruct the driver’s view, it’s probably $$$ related.

    you are probably right. kinda sux but for a 45 grand truck ya know?? it wouldnt be so bad but the running boards on the limited you can hardly get your toes on too!! i suppose its them little things lol hello toyota?? listening?

    i found out today the sequoia has both of them on it. dang...minds working hmm maybe itll fit....

    Installed Rago brackets and 4" cube ditch lights. Weather tech mats. Cargo net. Cargo mat. Ordered Gobi rack with ladder.
    My Tundra Pro doesn't have it either. Really sucks too. So I just grab the steering wheel. Maybe that's why I'm out of alignment lol.

    I'm disappointed in this same thing. Although a 3" lift is minimal, the grab handle saved my seat from wear. I used it in my Tacoma every day! I have adjusted to life without it in the 4Runner, it sucks not to have the grab handle but all the other features far outweigh what my 2005 Tacoma had.
