Oil leaks Search 3 gen The interior shifter knob is faded. Replacing differential oil and correct oil to use Engine is way louder than it used to be. It sounds the same but just amplified...

    This is Toyota reliability right here; 2001 SR5 with 225K miles and it just passed California smog! Not only is this is a rust-free T4R that has spent at least the last decade of its life in California, but it's also unique because it's a 2WD model, which you don't really see in PA; I stopped at Wawa to get gas after dropping off my girlfriend and saw this parked there. I started talking with young woman who owns its, and we hit it off over the fact that we are both from California (I was born there in 1989, but I'm a Navy brat and I spent a combined total of just over three years there; 1989-1990 and 1996-1998). She bought it for $4,000 and drove it all the way here. She only plans on staying here for a couple of months (I think she's visiting family or something), and is really nervous about the winter because she's never driven in snow; I assured her that I've been driving my 2WD Taco in the snow for 14 years and have had few issues. Aside from being a rust-free California beauty, this T4R has been upgraded with a modern Bluetooth stereo, with CarPlay and a backup camera!
