Finally fit the 35’s on the wife’s daily. Truck has 35” Toyo M/T’s, +2 Total Chaos LT kit with Kings, 17” Methods and it rides great. Also fluid film’d the truck since we live on the coast.:burnrubber:

Not yet, thinking about possibly going 4.56’s. It doesn’t drive bad the way it is to be honest.

It’s a great start. Drive it up a grade, or tow. Then report back. You’ll likely want a regear by then. By the time you add armor you’ll be ready for 4.88!

    Enjoy the ride, looks awesome!

    I
I’ve heard that, I’m going to be looking into better brakes, a tune and then gears possibly after that. My wife had long tube headers on her previous Long traveled Tacoma and wants me to put some on this thing as well. So we’ll see how it all works out.

Interested if you have noticed any marks on the rear doors where the bulge is. I started seeing them on mine after putting the current rims and tires on. 285s with -12 offset and no mud flaps. I ended up putting rockblokz on because of this and to keep the sliders cleaner. I use them as a step and having mud piled up on them to the bottom of the door got old. Yours looks great.

Haven’t seen anything yet but only time will tell! Gonna look into snagging some sliders when a set pops up in my area.

What are your thoughts after 6 months or so? How does it perform in the dirt? What did you do to the rear?

Do 35s fit without any other mods?

What did you do for a suspension setup on the rear?

    Looks great!

I have to guess that the kit is engineered with the idea of fitting larger tires. Did you still have to do a BMC, and take a sledge hammer to the firewall? Or, how much extra work was involved?

With 34s, I have almost as much clearance as you, maybe I should not think about getting 35s.
