I have a KDSS 4runner with stock suspension and want a minor lift and more leveling using stock tires. I do not want to compromise MPGs or on road comfort for bigger tires. What's my best option for a minor lift to the rear (maybe .75") and level the front(approx 1.5"). I'd like a slight rake so that if I put gear in the back (approximately 250-300pounds) it will still be level.

i’d take a look at the eibach stage 1 pro lift with their 1” spring for the rear.

bilstein 5100s are another option but are generally considered a more firm shock.

@nimby used the Eibach Sport Truck shocks to raise the front 1.6", did not raise the rear, and he seems happy with the results. I imagine you could use the same setup with a 3/4" spacer in the rear to maintain a bit more rake. The Eibach shocks are far superior to oem.

I used the same shocks to raise the front of mine .85, and put new shocks in the rear with no lift.

Is that stock tire size? What type of shocks did you use on the rear?

Stock size tires - 265/70-17 Falken Wildpeak SL load. Same Eibach Sport Truck shocks on rear with no ride height change.

    Are you using factory coils?
