Same for me. The Lasfit headlights have been great. On the other hand, I replaced all the interior lights with LEDs for the reliability but, those lousy f**kers die all the time.

Yes! This is actually why I haven’t done an upgrade from halogen yet either. I live where it snows 7 months of the year!

Thats how i’m feeling about regular residential home lighting ever since the transition from incandescent to LED. I don’t ever recall having to change out so many lightbulbs on a regular basis during incandescent years.
    Sorry off topic lol

my lows are led as well, I was referring to the check mark not being an actual light. Toyota dropped the ball there given most vehicles have some sort of led strip for a running light these days and it would look pretty good had it come stock that way. The Alpha Rex headlights have the check mark I wish was in the stock headlights

I bought a cheap LED Amazon kit and they died quickly. Spent decent money on Diode Dynamics bulbs and same experience. I am not sure what to think other than just leaving it stock.

Ya im not super happy with mine. They do dim over the years before they die completely. I think I’m going to try the lasfit led bulbs. Plus some BD ditch lights for winter country road and off highway to see the deer.

Well, one of mine officially died yesterday. Knew it was fading. Now what do I do? Another halogen, lastfit or throw down $900 for the alpharex?

Having a light pattern as good as my OEM LEDs my money on good yet cheap LEDs like Lasfit (my Lasfit LA series have this comparison). I was able to find some good coupons online. If that LED ever fails I can simply change just like a halogen bulb without having to remove the bumper and change the entire headlight housings. Speaking of removing bumpers since mine been a Limited I remember one member having a nightmare where sensors gave problems after removing the bumper.

Yes. My GTR Leds produce enough heat to keep the headlights clear

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
I say give the 4Runner-specific Lasfit ones a try. Mine have been going solid for 3 years already.

I have the alpharex and was in the same situation. I will say after a year + they are still going strong and bright as hell. But definitely a hit to the old bank account. But a good investment if your budget allows for it.

Just buy a cheap bulb to get you to black Friday for the sales. Lol

The OEM LED with low and main beam are excellent. On a faster car I might want some driving lights for more of a throw at high speed, but on a truck these LED lights are fantastic.
