What’s your 4Runner’s name?

I struggled to decide on a name but after a little research finally came up with Markhor. Not sure if it will stick as it doesn't really roll off the tongue. A markhor is a breed of mountain goat found in Kashmir and Turkistan. Probably call it Mark for short if it actually sticks.

 

I named mine Raptor Lights Are Gay.

 

Meet “Blue”. Decided by my wife and I for quick reference on who is jumping in what vehicle for the day.

 

We have two vehicles at the moment.
Subaru outback my wife drives. We call it "the outback" or "the car"
I have an f-150 we call "the pickup"

4runner will be here in March. It's not a car nor a pickup so I guess I'll have to call it something else.....like "the 4Runner"

I have never named a vehicle in my life and not about to start.

I had originally named mine something I can't remember which was some kind of mountain goat from Afganistan or somewhere. I since changed it to Billy, as in Billy Goat for the same reason you gave.

I call mine Raven..... Because she is white with added black accents. Dont ask me why. I just like Ravens, my Native American sign. I seem not to see the white color.... Does it sound racist?

An Etsy vendor called "Knobs for All". he's overseas, but pretty responsive. He had the Transfer Case knob built to my specs to match the Shift knob he sold me. Took a couple months, but he has done all the hard work already. If you ask him, it likely won't take long.

I will never buy a used car that had a name. In shopping for cars for my kids, every single carpet had a name had a very serious problem that the owner did not disclose. I don't know if they were being deceptive or if they were just tainted because they were emotionally attached to their car.

If I had to give a name to my car, humm, Felix the 4Runner is alliterative enough... Maybe Tesla, to confuse people.

 

Her name is Eleanor because she is supercharged and can be gone in 60 seconds. Well 60x5.

 

Brontë. Pronounced Bron-tee. Its the name of a beach in Australia and I haven’t been there YET! But it’s my dream so hopefully one day. Probably gonna name my next dog that hahah. Until then, I drive around in my Brontë
