What is the best way to black out the bumper underneath the grill.

Initially, I think I would use plastidip so I can peel off the black finish if I wanted to go back to original. By the way, I'm assuming you're talking the bumper insert on a Trail or Offroad model.

Not all dealers are the same !! I've been buying vehicles (7) and getting the serviced by the local Toyota dealer since 1982...I suggest you amend your comments to 'SOME' dealers

Installed Xenon Depot HID kit on my 17 Pro. Had to adjust the lights a bit but now they are perfect.

Good thought. My new bumper (Schrockworks), also comes with a new front skidplate as well, and don't know what wrenching, if any, may be required for filter removal with it installed. As you have noted, I think that I am also going to forego the time consuming oil filter drain as well. BTW, while I am thinking, enjoyed reading about your trip up to Alaska and through the Midwest. Gorgeous pictures, and the commentary at times was hilarious.

put in a 32in led bar hidden behind grill on my t4r Limited. Turned out great, but took a little time figuring out how to do the install since the rago fab brackets don't fit the limited's. Puts out a good amount of light for being behind the grill.IMG_2425.jpg IMG_2424.jpg IMG_2423.jpg IMG_2431.jpg IMG_2419.jpg IMG_2420.jpg
ended up attaching the bolts to the metal frame above the bolt pictured here for more stability

Well after numerous attempts to fix the tailgate and it never quite being right, I sold it today. Maybe I’ll try again down the road, but for now we’ll stick with our two cars and pay some other stuff off. Bummer...I liked that 4Runner.

Amsoil guarantees your engine with their oil. Don't think they have have had an oil based engine failure yet (and we're talking SEVERAL decades here....). 282K miles with my 2011 Outback using their oil, using similar oil changes. My fathers 2000 taco with 350K+ on the clock likewise. Do what you want , it is your money. Amsoil has been in the business for years, and doesn't blow smoke. It takes a little getting used to, going longer on oil changes, I admit. But after you check your results, you realize that they really know what they are talking about. Do some research, they advertise 100K oil changes with big rigs with their dual remote setup.

Maybe so but still not doing it. $50 for an oil change is cheap peace of mind as far as i'm concerned.

Should of done more research before I got my KO2s. Discount tire direct has a hell of a deal right now on EBay $100 off $400. Almost pulled the trigger on the Wildpeaks MT for my taco.

How many PLY? and are they LT or P's? There are a lot of tires out there, including many supplied by Toyota on their 4x4's that are P-Rated or Passenger Car Tires - I've seen a lot of flat tires on mountain roads where crushed-rock will penetrate the tread. I run 10 Ply Toyo's for the reason on my Taco - Clay

RC is lower end in general but not bad stuff. Post a link to the kit you're looking at.
