TRD Pro emblem blackout kit (TOYOTA letters, not the symbol)

I have a 2023 TRD Pro coming soon and it does not have the emblem blackout option from the factory.

Every accessary page shows a blackout kit with two Toyota emblems, front and rear. The TRD Pro has TOYOTA spelled out of course on the front. None of the kits I've seen have the TOYOTA letters.

Where does the factory get the blackout kit from? Does the aftermarket support? I'd rather not use plasti-dip.

 

Ya... i think that is fugly as hell myself. Id have to imagine, a black out kit from *2010,... would fit the same. They are both basically the same rig after all.

 

Yes but show me a kit that contains TOYOTA letters for the front and the symbol with 4RUNNER letters for the rear.

 

I wouldn't put a kit on it, or even black it out. Id remove it. I would put a non pro skin on . Sorry boss.

None of the kits include black out for the “Toyota” - if you want those black you’ll have to plastidip them

 

So if I had the factory blackout options, the front TOYOTA letters would still be chrome?

 

Are you talking about the letters on the front of the grille? They're like a dark satin gray from the factory, not chrome on the Pros.

 

Toyota factory isn't blacked out on the "TOYOTA". I got a set in Japan from some aftermarket shop.

The front TOYOTA letters are dark grey from factory; not black otherwise they would blend it with the grill and non one would see them. They are not chrome.
Only the back 4RUNNER is chrome but if you get the blackout option like me, then the 4RUNNER letters and toyota emblem will be black like in the picture

EDIT: Found something that works, not ideal. Looking for a cap and adhesive system like other overlays. Please respond if you find any!

Like it or not- I’ve put different vinyl color covers over Toyota logo, more just it gives a different look. I like the red best. It looks good on army green. Dont really care what others think but i do get asked where did you get it- Etsy.

 

That looks really good! Looking for something that covers the letters all the way like an overlay. Astonished there is no options out there like that yet.

Found the letters linked below but I'm pretty sure they're screw ins and require modification to fit.

They can be port or dealer installed even before you take delivery.
