I have been reading about suspensions lately and i am really confused as what is best for my 2017 4runner trd off road. I dont have it yet but would like to know much before i get it. I have seen lots of fine looking rigs and have decided that i would get mine lifted with possible 285/70/17 tires. Here is a little detail on what i want to achieve. I live in canada where we get tons of snow. Any suggestions on tires that is good on snow and also will be on the pavement 99% of the time. So little to no off roading for me. Just want to get the aggressive looking tires most 4runner owners have. Also what lift kit should i get for my situation? I have small children so safety is the main priority.( no spacers for me) again.. just want an aggressive looking 4runner. 2 inch or 3 inch lift? Dont want tires to rub at all. Willing to spend as long as everything is great. Would also like it to be leveled, little body roll, little nose diving. Dont know if these are all possible. Like i said, i am a complete newbie into lifting and trucks for that matter. Have experience lowering cars but this is totally different so please forgive me for these questions. Thank you

:canada:We run on Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. They've been great, both on snow and pavement,
through our B.C. winter. And our 4R Trail, (without KDS) has no nose dive that I've noticed and is a helluva lot better on the twisties at highway speeds than the '15 Wrangler jku we traded on it. Where in Canada are you? - Cheers, Ted

Just to throw another option into the ring, the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's. I've run both the Falkens and Duratracs and I think they both perform extremely well. Three aspects that I feel the Falkens blow the Duratracs out of the water is price, wet traction and sidewall construction however. If I had to pick a set, I'd go with the Falkens. Having said that, I had Duratracs on my Tacoma for 55,000 miles and they still had tread.
