Installed the TRD CAI along with adding USB and HDMI port where the old USB/AUX port was located.

The TRD CAI was bought from BAM as individual parts to save $200 as opposed to just buying the entire system packaged together. Just had to supply my own vacuum tube and zip ties. I also bought a MAF wiring extender Michigan Motorsports(recommended by wdsteven) so I didn't have cut the wire loom. I got some bright red vacuum tubing to match the TRD silicon parts and lettering. Sounds great combined with Flowmaster Super40 muffler, I know its not going to make it any faster or get better MPGs but it was a cheap, fun install that sounds and looks better.

The Pioneer head unit has a HDMI input I wanted to utilize but didn't want to have wires hanging out of an opening or having to have the glove box open to access them. Also I found a little backend software code that allows you use the HDMI port while the vehicle is in motion. Normally you have be completely stopped and and in park for the HDMI to be active. But now for long road trips the HDMI can be utilized. I do not recommend anyone watch anything while driving, in fact my wife was very surprised that I even did this as bad drivers are a huge pet peeve of mine. But regardless its cool and works as expected.

Since it was a warm(ish) day finally, test fit my Eezi-Awn 1000 awning I bought last winter. Customized the brackets over the winter (Gzilla + Eezi-Awn brackets) so they would fit onto the stock rails. So far happy with the results.

Small update to the climate control knobs. Added the AJT knobs. Went with the black knobs and red screws. Quick 5 min update.

Installed the Ultamite9 EVCX throttle controller. Didn’t get it to get more response as I think my 2022 Off Road drives fine. I got it for the lock out feature and Bluetooth module, so I don’t need the provider screen to control it just my phone. When I park my car, I just put it in lock mode and it doesn’t relay any input from the gas pedal to the ECU. I’ll alway drive it in Factory mode to hopefully avoid any reliability risk.

By the way, the install is a b*tch. Not sure how you guys who have throttle controllers can maneuver between dash and floor to squeeze the clip and unplug wire harness for gas pedal?!?

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Yeah it was a bit of a struggle to get the harness unclipped but then my hand strength isn't what it used to be. Some people unbolt the pedal so they can get to it easier. I think you're missing out on not using the response feature, it makes a huge difference. I nave the Sprint Booster for over two years now with no problems at all.

Remove the pedal, arghhhh … didn’t think of that or see that anywhere as an option. I did try it for a minute on the higher settings, just feel like I’m flooring it. Not sure if my model year has better mapping, but felt better when I first got it vs the 2019 Limited I test drove at the dealership.
