Bump Stop recommendation

    Wanting to add some front and rear bump stops. Looking for recommendations

    Seems like some bump stops are geared more for towing or heavyweight vehicles . I don’t have any added weight or plan on towing. Just wanting something to soften up hard hits from pot holes, whoops, speed bumps that jump out in front of me etc. also wouldn’t want it affecting my travel. (Most likely I’ll have a Dobinsons IMS 1.5” lift)

    ive read supposedly that rubber bum stops hold up better in cold/freezing temps vs polyurethane? Or just marketing hype

    I almost choked and thought I was reading a typo on one website asking almost $300 for 2 duro bumps.

    Wheelers superbumps, not cheap but they are worth the price.

    any particular brand you like in the rubber bump stop? It seems like Duro bumps get a lot of good reviews on the 4Runner

    I put these on my 4runner after I installed my Ironman 4x4 lift. Haven't had any complaints on them.

    I have a 2.5/15 inch lift using dobinsons ims shocks (normal travel) on my 2021. Been running them a while on forest trails and some conditions that approach mild rock crawling at times. I dont go fast off-road, because I just cant bring myself to use my 4runner fast off road (it’s a daily driver, and Im looking flr it to last a long time).

    I’ve never felt like I’ve bottomed out my suspension. What I dont know is if really need new/taller bump stops? Is there a technical reason to change out my factory stops after a lift? I’m not looking to spend money for no reason, but would like to know if I should plan on upgrading bumpstops simply due to a lift (and what could happen if I dont).

    Or are bumpstops more for those that run their rigs a bit harder and bottom out regularly?

    Any experience or thoughts appreciated
