Toyota Stalking, er...um, SPOTTING with Charlie™ (Cars, vans, SUVs, Lexus, Scion, and brochures)!

The 2nd Generation (P60; 1978-1984) was the only generation of the Toyota Starlet sold in the United States; I have only ever seen one in person, a mint and mildly customized 1981 model at car meet in June 2022. The 4th Gen Starlet (P80; 1989-1996) was NEVER sold stateside, but thanks to the 25-year loophole, that generation is now legal here; I saw this example in "Custom Alley" at the Philadelphia Auto Show, and unfortunately the owner was not present so I could not get the exact year...

 

I talked to a guy with Custom Toys and got the okay to get some better shots of the Starlet. Unfortunately the owner was not present, the car was locked, and the keys were locked in a safe so I couldn't get engine or interior shots...

 

This 2020 Camry is the third customized Camry of this generation I have seen since the end of June last year, including the green-wrapped 2022 model...

I have photographed a few 3rd Gen Siennas over the years that I deemed unique enough for this thread, including one just last month that was decorated with Christmas lights, but this 2012 Sienna is by far the most customized example that I have ever seen!

 

The van currently has about 100K miles on it, but you would never guess just by looking at it!

 

As of right now, the only thing on this van is the stereo system, which will change this year...

 

Like a lot of the custom Toyotas I photograph for this thread, this van is wrapped. It was originally gray...
